My oldest (almost 14yo) is my special needs - partially deaf, BiPolar, ADHD, PDD-NOS (high-functioning Autism). He&#039;s fantastic! Plays adaptive baseball &amp; Special Hockey (for kids w/developmental disabilities). My daughter is 12yo, &amp; the quintessential Tween!! Hubby &amp; I have been married over 15yrs, and he did 13yr Navy before getting medically retired. Life never stops, and I love it!!]]></description>

Sowell didn&#039;t say Obama was smart, or brilliant.  He said he was &quot;brainy.&quot;   As you point out, there&#039;s a difference between brainy and being competent.  I think that was the point Sowell was trying to make.
