I am Julie. Married to the love of my life, and we have two beautiful children. Our son is strong, smart, and has the deepest brown eyes with long feathered lashes that are amazing! He loves much and laughs often, and is destined to do great things.

Our daughter sparkles like the brightest star on the darkest night. She sees the world through very different eyes, and shows me a better way to approach life. She also happens to have been born with Down’s syndrome and cysitic fibrosis, but it does not slow her down. Here is a short video we made and entered into a contest for the march of dimes. We did not win, but the video is great:
I share my love, life and political views with the world when I can.
Comments are always welcome here, thanks for taking a look.
Just wanted to say I agree regarding the Political statment from the kids (While our opinions often ended up on opposite sides of the issues we couldn’t deny her passion ) that bothered me too – I cried. Just wanted to share that with someone that might understand how that made me feel. Thanks for saying so! BettyJean- The Majority United
Thanks BettyJean.
I read your response to Thomas Sowell’s “Brainy Bunch” column, and I think you got it wrong.
Sowell didn’t say Obama was smart, or brilliant. He said he was “brainy.” As you point out, there’s a difference between brainy and being competent. I think that was the point Sowell was trying to make.
By the way, I like your site.
Thanks Steve. I appreciate the constructive criticism. I really like your townhall blog as well.
Look forward to reading your blogs – love your points of view on Twitter!! My oldest (almost 14yo) is my special needs – partially deaf, BiPolar, ADHD, PDD-NOS (high-functioning Autism). He’s fantastic! Plays adaptive baseball & Special Hockey (for kids w/developmental disabilities). My daughter is 12yo, & the quintessential Tween!! Hubby & I have been married over 15yrs, and he did 13yr Navy before getting medically retired. Life never stops, and I love it!!
